Below are some of the things people are saying about Growing in Grace.

Growing in grace is the best school any girl could ever attend! I learned so much about Jesus, and the teachers were so encouraging and so helpful! If there was anything you needed help on or even if you just needed to talk to them about something they were there to listen! So, I highly recommend going to Growing in Grace and I cannot wait til next year!!

GIG has been a god send for our daughter Genesis. She has begun to blossom into the beautiful flower we know that she is and GIG has been a big part of her transition. We thank God for Mrs. Laura and her wonderful staff for helping to mold our daughter. Looking forward to her high school years in this program and continuing to find her self in a structured and GODLY atmosphere. HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful homeschooling program.

I came to Growing In Grace my senior year and it had to be the best year of my education so far. The environment is so loving and accepting and the teachers are so patient and kind. They really work hard to make sure we understand all the material assigned. I learned so much about the Lord as well as myself and I wouldn’t trade the memories I made my last year of high school for the world.

The teachers here are helping my daughters thrive in their education! They are encouraging and supportive.

Growing in Grace has been such a great blessing to my girls. They absolutely love all the teachers there. If you want your girl/girls to be taught academically and spiritually this is the place for them.

As a former student of Mrs. Laura May, I can attest to the fact that this woman genuinely cares for her students. Mrs. Laura is the epitome of love, humbleness, kindness, and service. She is a woman after God’s own heart. She seeks to develop her students both mentally and spiritually. She works hard, not only to provide an excellent education, but also to make young people into young adults, equipped with Truth and prepared for the world. North MS Curriculum Services is more than a homeschool service. It’s an organization that provides kids the opportunity to make lifelong friends, learn useful home skills, and learn from Christian-based materials. It’s a great way for parents to be involved in their child’s education, while still allowing them to make friends and partake in social events that most homeschoolers never get the chance to be a part of. I would not be who I am today without Mrs. Laura and her investment in me. I would absolutely recommend this service to any family interested in homeschool. It’s an honor to have been taught by Mrs. Laura May.

Growing in grace was an awesome school to attend. Everyone engaged with each other and the teachers engaged with the students. It felt more like a little community than a school, always had fun ways of learning when I attended. If you ever needed someone to talk to or help with class work there was always a student or teacher that was willing to help almost immediately. I texted one teacher at 8 pm and she got back with me and sent me a whole video explaining what I was struggling with and helped me even if it was late in the evening. I can definitely say the teachers cared a lot and Mrs. Laura is the best (principal) ever, I had fallen short of a ride one morning and she came to my house and gave me a ride to school. I’m so grateful for the time I had here, it was definitely a blessing. I also have a couple lifelong friends thanks to this school. Highly recommend sending your Daughter(s) to Growing in grace! ❤️

Where do I Start as a Parent of an autistic child of coming from public school. After three years at GIG, SHE HAS CHANGED FROM NIGHT TO DAY in an ABSOLUTELY GODLY WAY. I will never forget the visit I had with Mrs Laura before my daughter attended GIG. When I left her house I knew the PRAYERS that we had been praying were ANSWERED. I know if you are looking for a home school program for your daughter you will not find a better place for her to grow spiritually and academically.

Every sweet moment now carries a little pain with it. Teaching at this school has been one of the sole sources of growth in my Christian walk, and watching girls understand the Bible and the Gospel is something that continues to bring life to me.

Seeing the seniors graduate, knowing I’ll be passing this role onto someone else, has given me a sober realization of the way our God intricately works. He doesn’t need me, yet He uses me.

My bible class will continue, with another vessel whom God chooses to use and He will glorify Himself immensely through it. Students will come to know and understand, while I will have moved to the next venture the Lord has.

I will save my tears for the last school day, but I don’t think my boss or coworkers or students will ever truly know the passion in my heart for this opportunity, and the thankfulness I have to God for giving it to me.

I sit here tonight and literally count — every student, every blessing, every classroom in the last 3 years where God gave me a blank canvas to display His majesty for all who had eyes to see. There has been no greater privilege.

This is my first year and Growing in Grace Homeschooling Tutoring Services. I was nervous when first coming to the school just because it was a new school and all but right when I got there, I felt so welcome and and everyone was sooooo kind. This school is definitely a spiritual based school. I would definitely recommend this school to others.

Growing in grace has definitely been a positive impact on my life. I have been a student here for 5 years and have graduated this year. The teachers are incredibly passionate; making the classes easier to understand. Their passion becomes your passion. Both the students and the teachers involve themselves with each other. It’s a great environment and an amazing place to learn and create memories. If your daughter needs a place to go with a Christ centered environment, positive people, and helping teachers, Growing in Grace is the place for them. Mrs Laura takes care of every girl who walks through those doors and I can promise they will never walk out the doors without memories. ❤️

I did Growing in Grace all through high school and loved it! The teachers are so nice, and want to help you understand the work while getting to know you personally. They were always there if I had a question or needed help with something. Also, I have met some of my closest friends there, who have been such an encouragement to me in my faith. I was also given a lot of fun opportunities through the school, which I am so grateful for! Growing in Grace is a great godly community, and I know your daughter will love it!

Sonya M. (Class of 2024)

As an exchange student from Serbia who graduated from GIG this year, I can only say the best words. When I first came, I was scared of the language barrier and the new community overall, but I did not struggle at all. The teachers are so helpfull and friendly, and the girls are the sweetest. It really felt like a home to me. Everybody is accepted, appreciated and loved. Growing in Grace is not just a place for academic growth, but also a school that teaches you how to walk on the right path with God. There are so many things that I learned there and I am so thankful to have been a part of the Class of 2022!

*Ana S. (Class of 2022)

My daughter learned social skills along with book skills, she came away equipped with courage and transparency in knowing who she was . She found her true identity as she grew in grace along with other young ladies that were led to come out of their shells by Laura May as she is led by Christ Jesus! My daughter was even able to start college early and also got a job at the college! I am ever so thankful for the take aways, wisdom and relationships that will last a lifetime! Thanks be to God for this ministry, I mean, Homeschool Tutoring Service!

I am proud to say I’ve known Laura May for many years. When I first moved to the area she was a great encouragement and highly knowledgeable about many things. Her guidance and friendship where an asset to my family successfully completing our homeschool experience. I have 3 grown children who have all gone on to college and have blessed lives. Laura has a servants heart and very compassionate at what God has given her to do. Her knowledge in the curriculum world and people skills are very valuable and I believe will be a great help to many.

One of the many great things about Growing in Grace is the fact that not only does Mrs. Laura and all of the teachers focus on the girls growing academically, but spiritually. Sadly, I was only able to go one year due to me starting my senior year, but just in that one year I grew in ways that I truly never thought I could. The community within Growing in Grace is unbelievable. I created relationships that I will be able to cherish for the rest of my life. Growing in Grace was such a huge blessing in my life, and I know it will be for others as well. I would definitely recommend this program to others!

Laney C. (Class of 2021)

I started going to growing in grace in 10th grade!! This school is amazing for girls who need to make wonderful friends. The teachers are amazing and go above and beyond to help you meet your goal in all your subjects!! Ms. Laura is the best person to get to know, her caring heart and how she loves for all the girls who attend Growing in Grace. She try’s to get you where you need to be when you get ready for school. This school will help your kids find friends, best friends, even after you graduate you will still remember these girls years later. This school is based on Biblical principles and encourages you to follow the word with God. If you’re considering sending your kids here, this is the place to be!!

Growing in grace is not only a learning environment, but a loving one. I learned so much about Jesus and met the best friends I’ll ever have. I never felt judged by the teachers or anyone else. Very welcoming! Couldn’t think of a better place to go to school.

Honestly wouldn’t have graduated without Mrs. Laura starting this for us! My best high school days were in her house with my sweet lifelong friends. I miss high school so much because of this school and all the precious memories that I could never replace.
Kalyn C. (Class of 2015)

We have only been homeschooling for 2 years, but Laura May has been a tremendous help. If it wasn’t for her encouragement it may not have made the leap of faith. Everytime we have had a question she has gladly answered them. If anyone comes to me with questions about homeschooling I will guide to Laura.
Renea M. (parent)

I’ve been with Growing in Grace since 8th grade and after going to multiple schools whether it was private, public, or homeschooling, I had never really been the type of person that loved talking to people because I’d rather just stay in my shell. But Growing in Grace has really helped me with that area and has also helped me gain friends that I am still friends with today. With that being said, I understand that going to a new school can be extremely difficult but trust me, your daughter will find so many new friends or even the teachers will becomes your friend which is what I’ve loved. If I could relive anything, it would be high school because my years with this homeschooling program were the best years I’ve ever had. I hope you ( parents ) end up really liking this school for your daughter as much as I did for myself. 🩷🩷🩷

My 2 girls LOVED growing in grace. This was our first year. My 12th grader made some awesome Godly friends & she was pushed out of her comfort zone on so many levels (which she needed) !! My 7th grader was so sad that school was ending & is looking forward to 8th grade!

Mrs. Laura is such a precious and Godly woman, and I am so thankful to have been taught by her the last 2 years. She started Growing in Grace to help teenage girls focus on the things that matter: necessary academics, life lessons, and most importantly Christ. She makes sure every one of her students is welcomed and loved and is pointed toward Jesus.

• Brooke C. (Class of 2022)

What a wonderful place for our daughter! These teachers invest in your child. It’s not only about the academics, it’s about building character. I am so thankful we were able to leave public school and place our daughter in a safer, genuinely caring environment She thrived, made great friends, and had a great experience. We recently were relocated due to our job but we miss this school and I’m grateful to Mrs. Laura for investing in our daughter. She communicates to parents, doesn’t not allow bullying, and runs a great program. Mrs. Tracy is an amazing math teacher! She’s passionate about math but also her students. She is brilliant! Thankful for our time at Growing in Grace.
